When you talk about a crazy long time, a legendary costly event, an incredibly huge effort, a well-deserved street or a completely convincing argument, then behind it is a subjective opinion. In contrast to justify this in academic texts and scores will be over-or underestimates may not occur.
Before you use the superlative, you should consider whether the simple basic form of the adjective is sufficient for its claim. You should use words like, unfortunately or fortunately, only if you can justify the associated scores. Even words such as never, ever, at all, total, optimum, maximum, perfect, unique, all, any, none at all, generally you should use with caution, because you make it an absolute statement that can be demonstrated rare.
